Membership Summary

All Members of TEN are the senior IT executive within their firm or major division. Through the various chapters, CIOs are aligned with peer CIOs from similar-sized companies, Larger , Mid-Sized and Smaller Companies. This method of organization presents excellent opportunities for addressing topics that are of immediate interest and value to all CIO participants.

TEN Member Companies in each chapter represent a cross-section of industries and technological architectures. Direct competing companies are not included in the same chapter. Additionally, current TEN chapter members review prospective new members to avoid potential business conflicts. This approach has worked well to provide an environment where members candidly discuss their operations and challenges in a congenial, confidential setting.

TEN members are executives who see the the advantages of leveraging peer CIO knowledge and experiences as they develop strategies and tactics for their own organizations. Through active participation in TEN, members are able to test out ideas and solicit input from peer CIOs on subject areas that include leadership and staff development, CIO growth, corporate governance, budgets, technologies, contracts, outsourcing, and vendor performance.

Membership Qualifications

The focus of TEN is to serve the needs of the senior IT executive. TEN recognizes the challenges of the Senior IT executive are dramatically different from the challenges and needs of the other IT professionals in the IT organization. Therefore, membership in TEN and participation in TEN meetings and conferences is available only to the top IT executive in an organization or major operating division.
