Technology Executive Network (TEN) was formed in 1997 to provide the organization and leadership for CIOs to leverage their experiences and knowledge in developing business intelligence and reducing risk in decision making. Membership and participation in TEN is offered exclusively to The Top IT Executive in an enterprise or major division.

TEN groups (Chapters) are organized by relative size of the enterprise or division of the respective CIOs. This grouping  allows identification of topics and levels of discussion that are of interest and immediate value to all participants in each chapter. Each chapter is targeted to be 15 to 20 CIOs to provide sufficient breadth and depth of experience while maintaining meeting atmospheres that allow all participants the opportunity to actively engage in topic discussions.

TEN Facilitators provide the meeting organization, time management, and direction to ensure active attention and focus on the discussion topic and involving all participants in discussions. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are utilized as appropriate.

TEN Chapters meet monthly on their selected day of the month, e.g., 2nd Wednesday, 3rd Thursday, etc. Meetings are 1st thing in the morning and are planned and managed such that participants may schedule to be back in their office or other appointments later in the morning.
